Add Knotr as a remote HTTP MCP server in VS Code or GitHub Copilot CLI at https://knotr.ai/mcp/v1, then sign in with OAuth. Briefs worth keeping can live on as a link you can open later.
Setup takes a minute after you create a profile. Open Integrations → MCP.
Knotr in GitHub Copilot, not a generic feature list.
Load your Knotr profile in GitHub Copilot so the agent follows your voice and the knowledge you already trust.
The workflows you already keep in Knotr are ready in Copilot after you connect. You do not rebuild them in that project.
Ask Copilot to save a brief or page as a Knotr artifact. Group several into a Collection when you want one link someone can walk through in order.
Exemplary steps only. After you sign up, Integrations has the real connect buttons for this profile.
Sign up and create a profile.
Open that profile, go to Integrations, and choose MCP. The server URL is https://knotr.ai/mcp/v1.
In VS Code, add {"servers":{"knotr":{"type":"http","url":"https://knotr.ai/mcp/v1"}}} to .vscode/mcp.json (or your user MCP config), then click Auth above the server.
For GitHub Copilot CLI, run copilot mcp add --transport http knotr https://knotr.ai/mcp/v1 (or use /mcp add in an interactive session).
Ask Copilot to load your Knotr profile.
There is no separate GitHub Copilot installer.
After you sign in, GitHub Copilot can use your profile, the skills you share, and the notes you attached. It can also save a brief or page you want to keep.
Pair GitHub Copilot with a workspace tuned to how you work.
