When Claude produces a memo, plan, or page worth sharing, save it as a Knotr artifact. Claude's in-chat artifacts stay in that conversation. Knotr gives you a versioned copy with a link you can open anywhere.
Simple setup
Exemplary steps only. After you sign up, Integrations has the real connect buttons for this profile.
- Sign up and create a profile.
- Open that profile, go to Integrations, and choose Claude Cowork. OAuth client details live on the MCP tab.
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors (or Settings → Connectors in Cowork) and add a custom web connector.
- Paste your Knotr MCP server URL, complete sign-in, and enable the connector for chats or Cowork tasks.
- At the start of a session, ask Claude to load your profile.
Connectors you only set up on your laptop do not appear in Cowork. Use the remote connector from Integrations so Claude in the cloud can reach Knotr.
What travels with you
Once you authorize the connector, Claude can use your profile, skills, knowledge, and artifacts. What you save in Knotr is still yours, with a link you can reopen outside that chat.

Common questions
- Why isn't my Desktop setup showing in Cowork?
- Cowork uses a remote connector, not a config file on your laptop. Add Knotr from Integrations so Cowork can reach it.
- Is this Claude Code?
- No. Claude Code is a separate CLI install. This page is for claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and Cowork.
- Where do I copy the server URL?
- After signup, open Integrations. This overview does not show credentials.
- Are Claude's artifacts the same as Knotr artifacts?
- No. Claude's stay in that conversation. Knotr artifacts live in your workspace with a link you can open later or share. Ask Claude to save the write-up there when you want it to last.
- Can I present several Claude write-ups as a walkthrough?
- Yes. Save each memo or page as a Knotr artifact, group them into a Collection, and share the present link so the set is walked through in order — outside that chat.
- Is Knotr free to start?
- Yes. Sign up free with no credit card. After you create a profile, open Integrations and follow the steps for that tool.
