- Sign up and create a profile.
- Open that profile, go to Integrations, and choose Muse.
- Copy the generated instructions.
- In the Muse app or on the Muse website, ask Muse to update its personality, tone, and communication style, then paste the block.
The Muse app cannot use Knotr skills, search your knowledgebases, or save artifacts. Instructions only. Use Muse Code for the live connection.
What travels with you

Common questions
- Can the Muse app use my Knotr skills?
- Not today. The Muse app has no live connection. Use Muse Code, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or another connected client for skills, search, and saved work.
- Will pasted instructions stay in sync automatically?
- No. Copy the block again after you change the profile. Muse saves the personality across its own chats, and that copy does not follow later edits in Knotr.
- Can the Muse app save Knotr artifacts?
- No. The Muse app cannot save artifacts. Anyone can still open a Knotr link in the browser. To keep a Muse draft, paste it into Knotr or ask Muse Code to save it.
- Is this Muse Code?
- No. Muse Code is the CLI and connects over MCP. This page is the Muse app, and it is instructions-only.
- Is Knotr free to start?
- Yes. Sign up free with no credit card. After you create a profile, open Integrations and follow the steps for that tool.
